George "Henry" Mahshigian began trading advanced option strategies in the 1970s while completing his bachelor's degree in international finance at Florida Atlantic University. In the early 80's he got his start as a margin clerk in a Florida-based brokerage, then moved to Chicago to become a floor broker. In Chicago he learned from the best and brightest traders. He witnessed how the big S&P contract became a hit on the CME. In 1983, George went to work at one of the nation's oldest, most established equity firms as a stock and commodities broker. He then went on to start a futures trading brokerage known as Introducing Broker (IB), all the while working on developing his own proprietary trading methods. In 2011 George decided to sell his brokerage firm to devote his time to pass on his lifetime of learning and educate others about trading methodology and strategy. His unique approach to risk management is a revolutionary method that he fiercely advocates to all traders.
